The Premiership Is Back!

I should have posted thhis up yesterday, but i was busy partying .

So the premiership is back, and along with it came the usual shocks. Newly promoted Blackpool went top of the premier league for the first time since the opening day of the 1957/58 season. Later on that day, Chelsea quite literally ‘demolished’ West Brom 6-0, which made a total of 21 goals in Chelsea’s past 3 premier league home matches. Thats a statistic that im sure many managers will now be worried about.

Heres the results from the opening day of the season 2010/11:

Aston Villa 3-0 West Ham

Blackburn 1-0 Everton

Bolton 0-0 Fulham

Chelsea 6-0 West Brom

Sunderland 2-2 Birmingham

Tottenham 0-0 Man City

Wigan 0-4 Blackpool

Wolverhampton 2-1 Stoke

Sky Sports News Is Gone!…

From freeview that is…

BSkyB – widely known as Sky – have agreed terms to make Sky Sports News a pay-TV channel on freeview. This means that we will now have to pay to view the channel, rather than viewing for free (quite obvious really lol). Sky have said it is an attempt to “allow the channel to benefit from continued growth in subscription revenues”, but is it really fair on the viewers. I mean seriously, who wants to pay to watch the news? i would rather just gather some more money and get the Sky Sports package instead.

Totally Unfair.

Looks like im going to have to Stream or check skysports.com.

Is a Mans Life Worth $2.2 Million?

Total injustice here. How can you lock someone up for 27 years, then say “whoops, wrong person. Heres $2.2 Million”. Although thats probaby more than the amount he would have earned in those 27 years – i may be wrong to speculate – but imagine the mental burden it has been and how traumatised he is. I think its a disgrace.

Moral of the story: Charge the RIGHT person for a crime, and don’t get it so terribly wrong!

Kanye West is at it again. This video is mega-super-ultra-uber controversial, and im sure it will spark more talks about the masonic symbolism and ‘illuminati’ accusations that have been flowing around the internet. Personally, i think its just promotion and it get people talking. i think just over 6.5 million views in 10 days will support my view. Nonetheless, i think its a great video. The way it is shot is very different and he has definitely pushed the limits. Well done to this musical genius.

Cant wait for his new album which will be released November 16th 2010.

Prett awesome exit though lol. While video searching i also managed to find two videos that i found hilarious. One titled ‘How to Chirps’ – I suggest you take this as a joke and not literally. If you talk too most girls like that… – and the other ‘Stand Up Gone Wrong’. I kinda feel for the guy as it is his first show, but the ‘par’ at the end was just too harsh too sit in silence. Enjoy:

Call Of Duty: Black Ops Teaser

Treyarch have released a multiplayer teaser today, showing us certain aspects of the game mode that are the same as Modern Warfare 2, and also new additions. The game is set in the Cold War – Treyarch tend too base their versions of Call of duty on historic wars as opposed to Infinity Ward’s ficitional, modern wars.

From what i can see in the trailer, its looking good. The graphics seem to have remained the same, but the maps are looking much more fun than the crappy ‘Wasteland’ and ‘Rust’ that we saw in the previous COD. The addition of a crossbow is exciting, and im looking forward too seeing what weapons are on offer, and how the ranking system affects the unlocking of certain weapons. Also, the introduction of a ‘remote car explosive’ could be a sign as to how far out of the box treyarch are thinking (A flying mechanical remote pidgeon that poops semtex grenades maybe? Just a suggestion).

Overall the multiplayer is looking pretty awesome, but i guess thats why its a teaser- a compilation of all the best parts, and forgetting the rest. i guess we will just have too wait until November 9th to know whether it is or not.

Its a monday. Ive been at work since 10 and im quite tired. On a bad note, im currently thinking of my girlfriend who has gone on holiday and left me in this ~~s***hole~~ wonderful place… Sad times. And while that emotional moment consumes, here is the good news.

I have my laptop back! And i may be getting a mac too …

What? Am i the only excited one here… Kmt. Fine lol

Fabregas is staying!

The news that every arsenal fan has been finally released earlier this week regarding thr future of fabregas. I, as an arsenal fan, am extremely happy that he has decided to stay at least for another season.

But you cant blame him for wanting to leave… Barcelona are arguably the best team on the planet at the moment and their recent form has been rewarded with many trophies. As well as that, it is the team he grew up supporting and his love for them will show regardless of the team he is at.

Been the fantastic player he is, he will want too win cups, which really isn’t arsenal’s speciality nowadays. However, im sure if arsenal can retain our main players without injury for the better part of thr season, we will finally bring a major cup to the Emirates, and may keep our key playmaker for more than just one season.
